Upton Tire Pros is a regular client for Creative Distillery, and Mike Upton – the owner of all four Upton Tire Pros stores – asked us to come up with an ad campaign based on some retro signs he remembers from his childhood. That nostalgic feeling would be a great way to pull in an older audience to any of the stores. Being into the history of typography and vintage design itself, I would totally excited and received creative lead on the design of the project. I did a structured hand lettered look for this with a bold yet muted color scheme. Mike is very happy with the outcome of these and is wanting to continue the series and expand the campaign.
